These terms cover your use of Topical Vault (“the site”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, or by creating an account, you agree to them. They’re written in plain language on purpose: this is a small, free, independent study resource, not a commercial product.

Who we are

Topical Vault is operated from India. Contact: topicalvault@gmail.com.

What this site is

Topical Vault is an independent, unofficial revision resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge Assessment International Education (“Cambridge”) in any way. “Cambridge IGCSE”, “Cambridge International AS & A Level” and related names belong to Cambridge; we use them only to describe which syllabuses the material relates to.

Free service

The site and accounts are free. We don’t take payments and nothing is sold, so there are no fees, subscriptions or refunds. If that ever changes, we’ll publish pricing and a refund policy here before charging anything, and nothing you already have for free will be taken away without notice.

Accounts

• An account is optional. It unlocks papers from before 2025 and syncs your progress between devices.
• Use an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for activity on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
• One account per person. Don’t share your account or sign-in cookie with others.
• Choose a username that isn’t offensive or impersonating someone. We may reset usernames that break this rule.
• If you’re under 18, please get a parent or guardian’s permission before creating an account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page. It’s immediate and permanent.

About the exam content

The past-paper questions, case studies and mark schemes on this site are reproduced from official Cambridge examination material, sorted and organised by topic for private study. Copyright in that original material belongs to Cambridge Assessment International Education, not to us. We claim ownership only of the way it’s organised and presented, and of the site’s own code.

If you are a rights holder and have a concern about how material is used here, contact us at the address above and we’ll respond promptly.

Acceptable use

• The site is for personal, non-commercial study. Teachers may use it with their own classes.
• Don’t scrape, bulk-download, republish or redistribute the site’s content, and don’t use bots or scripts to access it.
• Don’t try to get around the sign-in requirement for older papers, our rate limits, bot checks or any other security measure, or access anyone else’s account or data.
• Don’t attempt to overload, disrupt or break the site.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, especially for abuse, scraping or attacks. Where it’s reasonable we’ll warn you first.

Your data

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

No warranty

Mark schemes, model answers and topic tagging are provided as a study aid on a best-effort basis. We don’t guarantee they are complete, error-free or match the current syllabus, so always cross-check anything exam-critical against official Cambridge sources. The site is provided “as is”, and we may change, pause or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topical Vault and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including reliance on any content for exam preparation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve any problem informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects account holders, we’ll say so on the site before it takes effect.
